Jens B. Arnesen appointed new CEO of Venuepoint

Jens B. Arnesen has been appointed CEO of Venuepoint, one of the leading Nordic ticketing providers owned by CTS EVENTIM and Nordisk Film, effective March 1. Under his leadership, Venuepoint eyes further growth in the Nordics.

 

COPENHAGEN, February 2, 2018 – Venuepoint, one of the leading Nordic ticketing providers, has appointed Jens B. Arnesen as the company’s new CEO, effective March 1. Venuepoint is a joint venture between German ticketing and live entertainment company CTS EVENTIM and Danish entertainment company Nordisk Film. Jens B. Arnesen joins Venuepoint from streaming and film service company C More Denmark where he has been serving as Country Manager since December 2016.

Jens B. Arnesen’s primary focus will be to accelerate Venuepoint’s growth and provide great customer experience and increased ticket sales in Scandinavia’s growing market for live entertainment and cultural events.

Prior to joining C More Denmark, Jens B. Arnesen was Sales and Marketing Director in the Danish media company Berlingske Media where, among other things, he was responsible for eCommerce and ticket sales for cultural, sports and business events. He has also held top management positions as Vice President in the Danish Telco TDC and as CEO at the pay TV distributor Canal Digital. Jens B. Arnesen holds a Master degree in marketing from Copenhagen Business School and has attended London Business School, INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
