New CEO and CTO in Venuepoint

August 26, 2015

After 4 years in Venuepoint, the last 2 as CEO, Kasper Schumacher has decided to take on new challenges, as CEO of Skåne Djurpark in Southern Sweden.

“It’s been a fantastic journey with Venuepoint, trying to balance increasing complexity in customer demands with the ambition of delivering best-in-class support in all parts of the organisation”, says Kasper Schumacher, and continues “It’s been a fantastic period, working with a very dedicated organisation and some of the most prominent venues and organizers in Scandinavia”.

The new CEO is Christoffer Feilberg, who comes with a long experience as CEO of both corporates and startups within media and technology. Christoffer will focus on continuing the progress of Venuepoint, both commercially and operationally.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for me. Venuepoint has done remarkably well in the market, but I’m sure that we can work together to become even better, sharpening both our offerings and our support and services”, says Christoffer Feilberg. “I hope I can bring on a fresh approach to challenges and strengthen our strategy and plans”.

Christoffer started on Monday (August 24th) and will thus have 6 weeks overlapping with Kasper, who leaves Venuepoint at the end of September.

In addition to the CEO change, a new CTO has been hired: Henrik Friis Farsøe, who comes with a long experience in complex tech companies such as MACH and Unwire. Henrik started a week ago and has got a great start in his new job.

Venuepoint wishes both Christoffer and Henrik a warm welcome.
